Podcasting Whore of the Week
We have selected JayT as our Podcasting Whore of The Week because he has finally gotten back to podcasting. He posted three shows this week and that’s more than he’s posted in a very long time.
We’ve mentioned before how we don’t care for the local topics Wanda discusses but on this episode she talked about national issues. She talked about that crazy Miss California and Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. Wanda took a stance on the issue and we have to say we agree with her. It’s about time Obama took a stance on the issue as well. He could do something about the policy now. We think he should make a decision and get the ball rolling. Good job Wanda, we agree.
It seems that JayT has gotten back to posting regularly now. On this episode he talks with Big Fatty from Big Fatty Online. Besides the many references to Archerr, they talk about the quiz programs, facebook and myspace and reunions. Big Fatty isn’t interested in seeing any of his old classmates. We find it interesting that these two podcasting personalities got together to record. We did enjoy the conversations they had.
We hope JayT will stick with a regular recording schedule. At least he keeps us wondering who he’ll talk with next.
Matty is back and not as serious as he has been in the past. On this episode Matty talks about memories from the 1990’s. He plays several songs from the 90’s and of course that brought back some fun memories to many of us. Who knew Matty was so young in the 90’s. He talks about TV shows, fashion, and music from the 90’s. He also catches us up on what he’s been doing lately. We do so enjoy his conversations and we like that we didn’t have to think too much to listen to this one.
Without getting into all the topics they talked about on this show, we just want to say you have to listen to this one. Ricky from Foul Monkeys was a guest host. The regulars Holly and Larry were there too. The amount of funny one liners that Holly and Ricky throw out on this was amazing. There was a good chunk of this show where we laughed line after line. Ricky and Holly have some great chemistry in this episode. Ricky could easily be the new co-host.
We love it when podcasters influence other podcasters in their shows. Clearly all of Miss Wes’, Holly’s, and Archerr’s bathroom issues have rubbed off on Scotty. He spends the first part of this show talking about bathroom issues, both at home and at work. We found most of it quite humorous with all the details he was giving. But he did boil it down to the fact that everyone poops and you have to deal with it. Genius.
We probably should have selected Daniel last week when he podcasted every day but we’ve selected him this week from the unforgettable Monday show with Big Fatty. And Daniel appeared on one of Archerr’s group shows this week.
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, we love Archerr’s group shows so much more than his solo shows. This episode did not disappoint. As usual, Archerr had a handful of guests. The topic was gay marriage. The discussion was intelligent, insightful, and informative. Having Daniel’s input was invaluable in the discussion. He seems to be able to define things that others have difficulty explaining. This episode can’t be missed if you enjoy educated people discussing a very relevant topic to the gay community.
We thought we’d check in and see if Adam and Matty have improved at all. We heard them last week on Dubious Intent and thought we’d check them out again. We probably shouldn’t have.
They have not changed. They are just as uneducated as they were when we last checked in with them. They are still uninformed about politics, racism, life in general as well as the stimulus package, mortgage help, and Obama. These two are such a sad representation of the LGBT community. We find it so hard to listen to their discussions about these topics. How can they be so stupid?
And why does Matty scream so much?
Miss Wes is celebrating Cinco de Mayo but has changed it to Poopo de Mayo. He tells us some great stories about bathroom issues he has at work. He certainly has more bathroom issues than any other podcaster we listen to. We hope he is able to pee in the future and isn’t traumatized.
We also tells us he’s been in a relationship for about two weeks. What a surprise. We didn’t think he was datable. We’re glad he is though. Of course because of his upcoming travels he doesn’t mind if it doesn’t work out. We hope it does. He needs a man in his life.
